I was scared, confused and unsure about the divorce process and all the legalities that accompanied it. Not sure where to turn, I went to the Women’s Center of Southeast Michigan looking for guidance and support.   This is where I met Alfreda Menlove.   Alfreda was leading an informational session on divorce and said she was there to help, so I called her. It was the best thing I could have ever done. Alfreda was very kind and understanding, just the person I needed in my corner.   My divorce was not an easy one but Alfreda was there along side of me every step of the way. Abo ve and beyond the legal support I felt I finally had someone who understood my situation fully and could guide me through the process.

Like I said, Alfreda is very kind and understanding but she is also very smart.   That was very apparent during my custody trial. It was unbelievable to me that I was even involved in a trial but Alfreda was prepared and sharp and the outcome was better than I ever expected it to be.
